Push mode concentrates the battle by having only a small number of control points contendable at a time. In push mode maps, the symbols shown to the right will be shown on your minimap.

[edit]
Capturable
If your team owns this capture point, your focus should be on setting up a defense to keep it.
If you team does not own this capture point, your focus should be on capturing it.
[edit]
Capturable only once
See Capturable for basic strategy, with the addition that this capture point can only switch hands once.
[edit]
Not capturable
If your team owns this capture point, your focus should be on defending other flags with avenues of attack to this flag.
If you team does not own this capture point, your focus should be elsewhere.
[edit]
Avenue of attack
This symbol appears between flags to show the "push relationship" between them.
