The scoring system in Forgotten Hope 2 is designed to reflect the difficulty and strategic importance of a kill.

The basic formula
- kill score = 1 + difficulty score + strategic importance score + bonuses
- assist score = 1 + assist bonus + (difficulty score + strategic importance score) / 2

Difficulty score
The difficulty score is the positive difference (if any) between the weighting of the vehicle you used and the weighting of the vehicle you killed.
- Killing infantry as infantry gets you 0 difficulty score (0 - 0). It's easy.
- Killing heavy armour with medium armour gets you 2 difficulty score (6 - 4). It's relatively uncommon, but doable.
- Killing heavy armour with light armour gets you 4 difficulty score (6 - 2). It's pretty rare and hard.
- Killing heavy armour as infantry gets you 6 difficulty score (6 - 0). It's quite difficult!

Strategic importance score
The strategic importance score is simply the weight of the vehicle you killed.

Bonuses
- You receive 2 extra points if you kill an officer.

Assist Bonus
- You receive 1 extra point if the person you assisted is in your squad.

Conquest
- You receive 3 points for taking a control point away from the opposing team and making it neutral.
- You receive 3 points for claiming a control point for your team from neutral.
- You receive 2 points for either of the above if you joined the capture after it started.
- You receive an extra 2 points for killing an enemy who was capturing a control point your team owned.

Goldrush
- You receive 10 points for successfully stealing one gold ingot by returning it your base.
- You receive 3 points for carrying an ingot part of the way back to your base.
- You receive 5 points for killing an enemy carrying an ingot.

Team kills
Teamkills dock you 4 points. Teamkills from mines where the mine was marked with a flag dock you only 2 points. The flag needs to be placed within 10 meters of the mine.
